Pig Bajie in Journey to the West

When evil thoughts are together, disease will soak the body; A life of evil thoughts is an abomination of appearance.

Pig Bajie in Journey to the West

There are three kinds of evil thoughts: hatred, greed and infatuation. Three disciples of Tang Monk are representatives of three kinds of evil thoughts. Wukong represents hatred, the eight precepts represent greed, and monk Sha represents ignorance.

Bajie's greed is obvious to all. How did Wukong know about his hatred? It turns out that Zen Master Wuchao of Futu Mountain has long said, "The thousand year old stone monkey, Where? Be angry ". As for Monk Sha's obsession, let's talk about it slowly.

Feng Linxiu has repeatedly said that each of the four masterpieces focuses on one law of life. "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" reveals "destiny", "Water Margin" reveals "mission", "Dream of Red Mansions" reveals "destiny", and "Journey to the West" reveals "fate".

What is "fate"? In fact, it is also "material life". It is the real origin of the universe, the mystery of the Ten Thousand Dharma Sect.

Tang Monk once said to Wukong: How can you not love life?

Wukong burst into tears and said: "I love you, I am a slender waist on the Chenxiang Pavilion.".

Someone once asked Fenglin Xiu that the Jade Emperor was a Taoist immortal, but why did Fengxian Prefecture read Buddhist scriptures? We can enlarge the pattern of this matter.

In those days, Wukong's master, Bodhi, once said that there are 360 side doors of the word "Tao", and all side doors have positive results.

The "Tao" mentioned by Bodhi here does not mean the Tao of Taoism in a narrow way. It is the "road" of the origin of all laws. Later, Bodhi said that the four mainstream sects among the 360 sects were "Liuzi Gate", "Xingzi Gate", "Shuzi Gate" and "Jingzi Gate".

Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Yin and Yang, Mohism, and medicine, or read scriptures, or chant Buddhism, and pilgrimage. All these belong to the "Liuzi Gate".

However, the lessons that Bodhi taught us are all about the Tao. It is written in the book that——

The sky is full of flowers and the earth is full of golden lotus. To perform the teaching of three skills skillfully, and to complete all the skills subtly. Slowly shake the Zhuwei and spray the pearl jade, and the thunder will move nine days. Talk about Taoism and Zen for a while, and the three schools cooperate with each other. The word "enlightened" converts to honesty and truth, and guides the non existence of sexual mystery.

Therefore, whoever wants to find out whether Bodhi's founder belongs to Taoism or Buddhism is really in a dilemma.

Since there is a great way, the three religions can be merged into one family. Why are they divided into Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism? In fact, this is about Monk Sha's obsession.

For ordinary people, from birth, they have to rush for a mouthful of "bait and water". In Journey to the West, Qianliyan and Shunfeng'er told the Jade Emperor that the stone monkey had eaten bait and water, and soon its golden light would disappear.

When Sun Wukong was born, there were two golden lights in his eyes and they rushed to Doufu, which shocked the Jade Emperor. In fact, there are also two golden lights in the eyes of newly born children, and they will last until they are one or two years old. So the world that babies see is different from adults. I believe many people have a deep understanding of this. As people grow older, they will take more bait and water, and the golden light in their eyes will disappear completely. Then people's obsession becomes more and more serious, and finally, senile dementia.

It can be said that the Buddhism method of Tathagata and Buddha is mainly aimed at the class for the group of people who have a deep mind. Now let's first see what's the expression of Monk Sha's obsession.

At Jindou Mountain, Wukong went out to beg for alms, and then made a circle to keep Tang Monk, Bajie, and Sha Monk in the circle. As soon as Wukong left, Bajie immediately mobilized everyone to come out of the circle. Then go straight ahead and enter King Si's Jindoudong.

Of course, Jindoudong has changed, waiting for Tang Monk and his disciples to take the bait.

Bajie saw several vests on the case. You have to wear it. Because Bajie is greedy. Greedy people like to take advantage of small gains. If they don't take advantage of small gains, they will itch in their heart.

Let's see how Monk Sha behaves. When Bajie began to argue with Shifu, Monk Sha didn't answer. When he saw that Bajie was going to wear a vest, Monk Sha immediately said, I'll have one too.

See, this is Ideation. Idiotic thinking is a kind of mindless folly. He felt that since the second elder martial brother had worn it, I must also wear it. Otherwise, I will suffer a loss? But what if you fall for it? Anyway, it was the second elder martial brother who was cheated first. This is one of the main reasons why Quan Jian can be duped by so many people.

We can combine Wukong and the Eight Commandments together to talk about Monk Sha's obsession.

Wukong's wisdom is obviously higher than that of others, even Tang Monk. So he can't see the greed of the Eight Commandments. The contradiction between Wukong and Bajie is the most obvious in the Buddhist scripture team. Because the greed of Bajie is true greed, and the hatred of Wukong is even more true hatred.

The eight precepts are greedy for money, lechery, laziness, and merit. In short, they are to see the advantages, honor, and interests, and to avoid difficulties and dangers.

Then the question arises, why did Tang Monk like Bajie most, ignore Sha Monk, and also specifically suppress Wukong?

In fact, not only Tang Monk likes Bajie, but also many people prefer it in reality? The reason is that one of the characteristics of Bajie implies the psychology of the public.

two

In reality, people who like Bajie usually stick a label on her - cute.

Where is Bajie cute? It is his frankness. He is really greedy, but he is honest and doesn't hide anything. This is why Tang Monk likes him. He also said that he wanted to wear a vest, but he didn't say anything about it. When Bajie wore it, he followed suit. As a result, his behavior is the same as that of Bajie. But Ba Jie clearly expressed it, but Sha Seng didn't. Therefore, any leader likes people like Bajie. The shortcomings of human nature are undoubtedly exposed. Such people are easy to control. But Monk Sha is not sure. Of course, as for Wukong, it is even more uncontrollable.

The bad grasp of Monk Sha is "not speaking", and the bad control of Monkey King is "disobedience".

What if you can't control Wukong? Then we must find Bajie to check him. Therefore, the slander of Bajie became the most powerful weapon for Tang Monk to balance Wukong. At first, Tang Monk missed the Tight Hoop Curse Wukong, but he had to take the initiative to read it, which seemed abrupt and stingy. However, if you have eight commandments, you will feel less pressure in an instant.

This is the "Shu" of "Shu Zi Men".

Before the appearance of the six eared macaques, Wukong was tortured by the hoop curse. We know that every time Wukong is wronged. The question is, does Tang Monk know?

Tang Monk certainly knows. Otherwise, how can I become a master. The problem is that the purpose of Tang Monk's mantra is not to punish Wukong for killing those people unjustly, but to punish Wukong for always disobedience.

Do you still remember Thorn Ridge? At that time, several tree spirits and Tang Monk recited poems and fu together, and everyone had a very happy time. Later, Wukong and other disciples came to find them, and the tree spirits hid themselves. As a result, Bajie once nailed palladium, three or five long mouths, built with arches, and waved two wintersweet, osmanthus, apricot, and maple poplar to the ground. Indeed, the root was bloody.

At this time, Tang Monk stopped him. He came near and said, "Wuneng, don't hurt him! Although he has become the weather, he hasn't hurt me. Let's find the way."

As a result, Bajie did not obey. Instead, they simply used a meal of palladium to build all the pine, cypress, cypress, cypress and bamboo together.

For Tang Monk, human life is life, and material life is also life. Bajie hurt so many lives for no reason. Tang Monk didn't blame or nag at last.

Tang Monk didn't mean to be tolerant of Bajie and stern to Wukong. In fact, if you can control it, you can tolerate it; What can't be controlled is strict.

Tang Monk is also a kind of obsession. It's just that he doesn't know. In the Kingdom of Women, the king of the Kingdom of Women once told Tang Monk a story about Buddha and an old woman.

Buddha said that all beings in the three realms have Buddha nature. If you have a clear mind, you can be relieved. When the Buddha said that, where the Buddha's light shines, many sentient beings become Buddhas. But there was an old woman in the city who didn't believe in Buddhism. Buddha used his wisdom eyes to see that the old lady's fruit is ripe, and she should join my Buddhism. So he took his disciples to ferry her.

However, this old lady is far more stubborn than Buddha imagined. Whatever you say, the old lady would not listen if she stopped her ears. There was no way. Buddha took his disciples and left. The next day, he told disciple Muqianlian, go to Duhua. Mughalian was puzzled. He said to himself, "If the teacher can't help him, how can the disciples help him?"? Buddha said, you can go at ease.

Magdallian went. As a result, the old lady was very congenial to Mughalian. Under the cultivation of Mukhtar Mahayana, the old lady also achieved her own goal.

The old lady told a story to Mughalian. Once a woman died. Many people came and went, ignoring her. Suddenly a man came, looked at the woman, covered her with a dress and left. Then another man came and buried the woman.

The old lady said that she was the woman. Buddha is the person who once covered her with clothes. And Mughalian is the man who once buried himself. Now, Muqianlian turns into a golden cicada and is reincarnated into a Tang monk to learn scriptures in the west. The old lady turns into the king of the daughter country and meets the Tang monk by chance, which can also be regarded as the karma of a previous life.

When and who meet each other, it is karma; It is all karma that helps people. When the fruit is ripe, it will naturally ripen. If the fruit is not ripe, there is no chance to meet the Buddha. This is the "fate" in Journey to the West. So in Journey to the West, we should first learn that there is a kind of wisdom called waiting.

Come on, let's finish with a verse:

No raft is built for crossing, but drifting is reduced to picking flowers. The good root has not been planted today, and will sprout some day.

When you are thirty years old, you can travel thousands of miles. The river is green and the grass is green.
